What is Longevity Düsseldorf?

Longevity Düsseldorf is a free, science-based community for people in Düsseldorf who want to stay healthy for longer. The Düsseldorf chapter of Longevity Cities is for anyone curious about movement, sleep, nutrition, stress and good relationships, from complete beginners to people who already track their health data.

The chapter kicked off in September 2026 with its first meetup, Matcha & Walk: a Sunday afternoon at CØFFE am Carlsplatz with matcha to go, a short talk about matcha and a walk through the city that ended at a green spot with a view over Düsseldorf. More gatherings will follow and are announced on this page.

Joining is free: create an account, join the Düsseldorf WhatsApp group linked on this page and check the calendar for the next date. Longevity Düsseldorf is a community, not a longevity clinic and not a club with membership fees. People come here to learn, compare notes on tests and check-ups and ask experts their questions.

Frequently asked questions

What is Longevity Düsseldorf?
Longevity Düsseldorf is the Düsseldorf chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy ageing. It launched in September 2026 with a Matcha & Walk meetup and connects people who want to know what really supports a long, healthy life: movement, sleep, food, stress and relationships. Anyone can take part, no scientific background required.
Is there a longevity club in Düsseldorf?
Yes, in the sense of a group that meets: Longevity Düsseldorf is a free community with no membership fee, no contract and no gym or spa attached. Members meet for walks and talks about healthy ageing, and every date is announced in the calendar on this page. You only pay for what you order yourself, such as a coffee or a matcha.
Is there a longevity clinic or longevity doctor in Düsseldorf?
Longevity Düsseldorf is not a clinic or a doctor's practice: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. Private longevity check-ups in Germany typically cost roughly 1,500 to 2,500 euros without imaging and up to 5,000 to 8,000 euros with whole-body MRI, and statutory insurance does not pay. Before booking, ask what decision each result would change for you, and skip anything that promises to reverse ageing.
Where can I test my biological age in Düsseldorf?
There are three routes: an epigenetic mail-in test (roughly 130 to 400 euros), an extended blood panel via your GP or a private lab (roughly 150 to 450 euros) or fitness markers such as VO2max and grip strength. Blood markers are the most practical starting point, since they show values you can act on. On this site the face-age test, VO2max calculator and grip-strength test with age norms are free.
What longevity events and meetups are there in Düsseldorf?
The first Longevity Düsseldorf event was Matcha & Walk on Sunday 20 September 2026 at 14:00, starting at CØFFE am Carlsplatz, Benrather Straße 6B, with a walk through the city afterwards. Further meetups and talks are announced in the calendar on this page and in the Düsseldorf WhatsApp group, so that is the place to look for the next date.
Where can I find a biohacking and healthy-living community in Düsseldorf?
Longevity Düsseldorf is a free place in Düsseldorf to exchange experience on sleep, nutrition, training and wearables, with an eye on the evidence. You do not need to be a biohacker: curiosity is enough, and beginners with basic questions are just as welcome as people who track everything. Ideas and questions go into the Düsseldorf WhatsApp group linked on this page.
Is there a longevity community in Germany?
Yes, Longevity Cities is a free network of local longevity communities with chapters in many German cities, including Düsseldorf and its neighbours Essen and Cologne. Each chapter runs its own meetups, from walks to talks and dinners. Your free account works across all chapters, so you can also join events when you travel.
How can I meet new people in Düsseldorf?
Longevity Düsseldorf is an easy way to meet people in Düsseldorf who share an interest in health without the party noise. The first meetup was a matcha and a walk, a format where talking to strangers comes naturally, and you can arrive alone. All adults are welcome, whatever your age or fitness level.
What does Longevity Düsseldorf cost and how do I join?
It costs nothing to join: create a free account, join the Düsseldorf WhatsApp group linked on this page and register for a date in the calendar. Extras such as a drink at the café are paid for individually, and each listing states costs upfront. The first meetup, Matcha & Walk on 20 September 2026, started at a café on the Carlsplatz, so a drink was the main thing to budget for.
What language are the meetups in?
The first Longevity Düsseldorf event was announced in English, and each listing says which language is used, so international residents and newcomers can join in. If you prefer German, ask in the Düsseldorf WhatsApp group, where you can also say which language you would like for future meetups.
