Hikes from Munich

What people ask before their first time

What is the hike from Munich?

The Hike in Munich is the community's day out of the city: a hike where the group waits for each other rather than splitting up. Some people look for it as a hiking group, others as a day hike from Munich. It is all the same thing: free, no membership, and anyone can turn up. München is the German spelling of the city, so you will find the same group written as Hike München too.

Which day does the Hike in Munich meet?

Next date pending. There is no new date on the calendar at the moment.

Where exactly does it start?

Previous meetups started at Hauptbahnhof in Munich. The meeting point for the next date is not confirmed yet.

Does the Hike in Munich cost anything?

No. There is no membership and no ticket. Longevity Munich is a community, not a studio.

Can I come if I have never been before?

Yes, and that is the normal case. Most people come alone the first time and know nobody there. There is no qualifying time and no application.

How do I join the next one?

How long has this been running in Munich?

Since August 2026. The group has met 6 times so far.

What happens if a date is cancelled?

Changes go to that date's event page and to the Munich WhatsApp group. One look at either before you set off is enough.
